ENKORE to be showcased at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2026
ENKORE will be featured at the EUREGHA stand during the European Week of Regions and Cities, taking place in Brussels from 12 to 14 October 2026. The participation will introduce the project’s work on circular healthcare to an audience of regional and local authorities, policymakers and European stakeholders.
Through EUREGHA, a partner in the ENKORE consortium, the project will be presented alongside other European initiatives. Visitors to the stand will be able to learn about ENKORE’s objectives through project information and dissemination materials.
Connecting circular healthcare with regional priorities
ENKORE is working to advance circular, safe and sustainable approaches to single-use medical devices and packaging. Its research addresses the challenge of improving environmental performance while taking account of the safety requirements and operational needs of healthcare environments.
The European Week of Regions and Cities provides a relevant setting for introducing this work. Regional and local health authorities bring an essential perspective on the conditions that shape the uptake of new approaches, from service organisation and procurement to infrastructure and local priorities.
Featuring ENKORE at the EUREGHA stand offers an opportunity to make the project’s work more visible to these audiences and highlight the importance of connecting research with healthcare practice.
Discovering ENKORE through EUREGHA
ENKORE’s presence will focus on raising awareness of the project and making information about its objectives and approach available to event participants.
For stakeholders interested in circular healthcare, the stand will offer an introduction to the project and direct them to further resources. ENKORE’s website and Knowledge Hub provide access to project information, presentations and dissemination materials.
By supporting this outreach, EUREGHA will help bring ENKORE’s work into a wider European conversation about sustainable healthcare and the role of regions in supporting change.
Participants attending the European Week of Regions and Cities are invited to visit the EUREGHA stand to discover ENKORE and the other projects being showcased.
